Teaching Automation in cooperation with companies

The project is co-financed by European Social Fund and Czech state budget.

The project is realized within the Operational Programme of MEYS ČR, measure 3.1. Human resource development 

  • Date of launching: 01.11.2005
  • Date of completion: 30.09.2007
  • Project duration: 23 months 

The goal of the project:

To create conditions for learning Automation at the school with a focus on development of students' and participants' professional competences. The other main goal is to create a team of teachers to ensure realization of compiled learning programmes.

Main tasks:

  • the analysis of needs of professional competences from the view of companies as potential employers
  • equipping two labs for teaching Automation
  • further training of pedagogical staff at the companies which supplied automation machinery
  • creating teaching materials (study materials, sample exercises, workbooks, methodical procedures) in cooperation with experts from the companies
  • implementation of modified content of Automation and newly created materials to lessons - their verification
  • providing short-term courses as a part of further education to pedagogical staff and other applicants

Target groups:

  • students from three-year and four-year study courses of Electrical Engineering according to SEP
  • COP pedagogical staff and pedagogical staff of other secondary schools
  • applicants for further education
